National Ice Cream Day

Ok now there are alot of fun holidays out there but we have never heard of a holiday called national ice cream day. When we did we jumped with joy and started licking our lips. We often can get momma to stop at DQ and get us the pup cone. Here are our pictures:

These pictures were taken back when momma shaved us all over...We are a bit embarrassed because our ears look funny and our heads look flat. BOL

Anyways have fun and good licking!

Farmer Bo and the Hay Ride

I love setting up photo shoots with the dogs and this is one of my all time favorites. I found both Mollie and Bobo's outfit in the same yard sale for 50 cents a piece. So we borrowed my grandmothers lawmower, wagon, hay, and dog Dolly to make this photo shoot pawsome.

Okay I looked all over the house and through all of my pictures and could not find anything pech. So, I decided do my true colors Thursday with a twist. I am posting my Georgia "Peach" transport doggies. These dogs were born in Georgia and ended up in high kill shelters for one reason or another. All of these dogs I have personally driven. Enjoy!

Dog Transport Updates

On a previous post found here. I posted about my transports doggies...well I just got word that Momma Mia (now named Shawna) is doing well in rescue and is learning not to be so fearful. Peter (now named Shawn) has an adoption request pending. So hopefully it will go through soon and he will be enjoying a new home and a new family.

Wow 4 posts in one day...Is that a record?

New and Nick Names

Mollie and Bobo have already gone to bed so I shall share the news...

Dory over at Dory's Back yard announced that Moo and Baa arrived this afternoon. Dory's moms flashy beast is refusing to work so they decided to let Moo and Baa take a nap till morning. I bet they have a fun planned for tomorrow.

Since Mollie's Moo Moo and Bobo's Baa Baa have such long names, Mollie and Bobo have come up with a nickname for them. They now shall be called MB.

Transport Dog Updates

Abby Gail (coon hound mix) on left and Sammy (brittany/beagle mix) on right.

I recently bloged about the transport of two dogs from my local shelter. The post can be found here. I just got word from the rescue that Sammy was adopted over the 4th of July weekend. Abby Gail is still with the rescue but is loving her new kennel mate a tree walking coon hound. I love hearing updates...they are just heartwarming. These two were my first pulls and I got to see them leave the shelter that had been their home for nearly 1 year. So these two were extra special to me.
