Sewing Sunday and a Walkie

Momma was so happy with sewing she wanted a new challenge. So of course she naturally thought of handmade designer doggie dresses for me! About a month ago this arrived in our mailbox.

She cut out all the fabric and followed the directions.

Very nice! Now this was her very first dress (my conversation heart dress was her second) and he ran into problems and would put it away and come back time and again. See the piece that was supposed to go on my chest (the piece on the right) didn't fit me just right.

She kept trying different things and she would sew pieces on then cut them off. Thus making this dress the "Franken-Dress". Eventually she and grandma came up with an elastic piece to make it work and last night she finally finished the John Deere Dress!

So for todays walk I debuted my new dress!

I was feeling pretty in pink so I decided to lead the pack!

Brother was not far behind.

Quick stop for a drink.

Trotting home!

Bobo decided to take a shortcut home. He trotted right up the side driveway.

Silly boy!
Please note my pretty feet!

I am quite proud of momma for making my toes so pretty and for sticking with the sewing to make my Pink John Deere dress!

Warm Week Walkies!

Oh boy we have had a week of big long walks, many out door zoomies with UP, and porch sittin'. What more could a pup ask for?

We wanted to share some pics of our walkies this week.

Lets GO!!!!!

Exploring

Humphrey, now named Hobo, loved meeting the horses and donkey's.

Uncle Puppy was glad to be back with "his people" and be able to tell his TaLl TaIls.

I can't properly tell a tail with this thing on my nose...

*rub*

Donkey's Chanting "Go Uncle Puppy Go!"

Darn it didn't work....Hmmm...

BOL Silly Donkey!

Alright guys....I shall tell you a story of a young, most handsome, giant cockapoo named...ummm...Prince Puppy. He lived in a magical forest with two tiny mini dogs called poodles. They loved the giant even though he towered over them. They played and played and played and played some more. No humans ever yelled and only petted the giant cockapoo on the head and told him he was a wonderful boy. At dinner time the humans would bring bountiful feasts for the cockapoo to eat. Trays filled with turkey and cheese and peanutbutter milk bones, and ice cream and pancakes.............

After silly Uncle Puppy told his tails we went on our way. Making sure to practice our cool shadows.

Then it was time for me to hop into my basket and head for home....

Lead the way boys!
(please note this is Bobo and Humphrey in the above picture. Uncle Puppy did not shrink)

Humphrey got a Home!

Humphrey enjoyed his time here. He got lots of walks.

Spent alot of time in his favorite spot.

And often we would come into a room and find him like this. Just laying there being cute as can be!

Yesterday momma took him to visit Dogtor Flanary and he got his neuter stitches taken out. Then he went on a home visit. He and his new sister were quick friends. His sisters name is Princess and she too is a Maltese. His new grandparents live two houses down and have a 9 month old pup so he still has an Uncle Puppy. BOL

Humphrey it was a pleasure having you here and wish you and your family all the luck in the world!
