Shopping Saturday

We began our Shopping Saturday at Grandma's workplace.  They are having a yardsale!

There was even a lemonade stand.

YUM!

After lemonade we shopped.

After the yardsale we took Mr. Jiggles to Petsmart.

Look at all the toys!  Ahh I am in heaven!!!

Mr. Jiggles was so well behaved and sniffed everything.

And look what I found.  Its an ice tray to make Kong shaped frozen treats.

This should be a great treat at our pool pawties this summer.

Whew all that shopping makes for two...

...Tired poodles!

While I was napping momma snapped this shot of me with my leg all backwards.  She says she doesn't know how I do it.  I say I am just special like that! :)

FVC Work

This is a post by Katie the momma

Every time I go to work at the clinic I am greeted by Miss Fancy Foo Foo.  She is such a spunky little girl.

As always not long after I arrive she hears something and runs off to protect her clinic!

While Fancy was off doing her thing I was in Dr. Flanary's office doing goat work...

...Duck work...

...Bunny work...

...and pig work.

This is a little male from Dottie's litter and he is the size of an iPhone.  Is he just not the cutest thing you have ever seen??!?!?!?!?

The majority of what I do is make birth certificates, pedigrees, registration papers, list the babies for sale, handle emails and organize photos. I truly love this work and getting to learn about animals.  I have expanded my vocabulary and my knowledge of farm animals.

Pet Taxi Service and Jiggles Gets Vaccinated

It seems as though momma has been leaving us more often.  This post has no poodles in it so if you would like to skip it we understand.  However if you want to see how Jiggles vet visit went you might want to continue reading.  And since I didn't get to go I shall let momma take it from here.

*runs off to think about things*
-Mollie Jo

Thank you Mollie.

The Pet Taxi service via Flanary Vet Clinic has had its first client to book.  It was for a male Golden Retriever named Mac.  His momma doesn't drive and its hard for her to get him to the vet so she called the Taxi Service.  When I arrived at Mrs. McGuire's home she invited me in and I was greeted with lots of golden love.  We discussed the things Mac needed done such as a bath, thyroid test and medications refilled.  As he got leashed he literally took the lead (he really did have the leash firmly in him mouth) and headed for the car.  And off to the vet we went.  He was a great passenger.

That afternoon by coincidence Mr. Jiggles had his appointment for vaccinations.

He was very unsure about being back at this place.

He stood on the bench next to me and didn't move.

He pleaded with me to run away from here and take him home.

Everytime I tried to take his picture in the office he would look away.  Silly boy!

He didn't even flinch when they were administered. Such a brave boy!

I then loaded Mr. Jiggles into the crate and...

...Went back to get Mac as he was done with all of his procedures.  Both boys were panting I guess going to the vet is hard work!

I double checked to make sure all the medications Mrs. McGuire ordered were there and we were good.  I delivered Mac back home safely and he was happy to see his mom.  I just LOVE this service!!!!

While I was at the clinic Dr. Flanary had something for me.....

To be safe I need to carry muzzles with me for the Taxi Service.  Mollie was my willing but none too happy model.  She was rewarded for her work.

Bobo Gets Diapered

The last two visits to Petco Bobo has been a doing a behavior momma deems unacceptable!  He hiked his leg.  There is just so much pee-mail there he couldn't help himself.  Now in the house he never does this as he was trained as a puppy with diapers.  So momma got an idea!!!!

Buttercup was eager to help with this sewing project.  She wanted to add some pretty flower buttons but momma said that Bobo might not appreciate that very much.  BOL

After much discussion Buttercup and momma decided on a simple denim with green fleece lining.

Now he will have a designer reminder not to leave pee mail inside the stores.

May Trip to Petco

Just before Mother's Day we went to Petco.  And it was a fun day!

First we headed to the grooming salon to pick up...

...The May grooming charms.  There were Mother's Day charms and flower charms.  Perfect for spring!

After the charms we  headed to look at the clothes, collars and...

....beds.  I found this cool bed and thought it would make a great addition to my carseat.  See it has a nice roll on the end for me to rest my chin on during those long car rides.  Yep sure does!  Please mommy with mini milk bones on top!

Score one for Mollie Jo!

We headed to the check out and  now we are ready to head fur home!

Before we left the parking lot I had momma put my new "Chaise Lounge" in my carseat and it was amazing!  Fit like a glove and look I have a place to rest my paw!  Thank you mommy!

I just love a good trip to the Petco!

Momma Visits the Flanary Keepsake Farm

Dr. Flanary thought that since momma has worked so hard on the "goat" work that she deserved a visit to the farm to see the animals in the furs.  However momma left us at home (still not sure why but anyhoo) so we shall let her tell of her visit.

Driving up the long winding driveway you first come to the pond.  What a beautiful sight!

Take a left at the pond and you come to the big barn.

The barn itself is a work of art!  Decorated with all sorts of farm signs.

 I loved the piggy silhouettes!

Next to the barn is the chicken coop.  With a "Fresh Eggs" sign on the front.

A momma Chicken with her babies.

On the other side of the barn was the Rabbits.  This is little Johnny 2Q.

In the cage next to him was 2 little escapees!  A farm helper found them running loose and put them in here for safe keeping till Dr. Flanary could put them back with their momma.

On the way to the pig pens I spotted this duck.  Dr. Flanary said he is quite the trouble maker.  He uses the bathroom in the water dishes.  Shameful duck!!!!

This is George and Scillion.  Two male Potbellied pigs.

After seeing the pigs Dr. Flanary took me to the cow pasture.

This is the farm dog Polly and she led the way through the cow pasture!

Then we came back to the barn for the main attraction!  GOATS!  Nigerian Dwarf Goats to be exact.  These cuties are in the nursery pen.

Here is my pick of the litter for 2012.  He had beautiful face markings and a neat body pattern.  I even got to hold him and he fell asleep in my arms.  AWWWW!

Next we headed to the kid pen.  All the older goat kids were here waiting by the door.....

...and they were off!

They have their own play yard and jungle gym!  Way cool!

We stood for almost an hour watching the kids play.  They would head butt each other and knock each other off the jungle gym.

Blossom a 1 year old joined the little kids on the jungle gym and even ventured out onto the slide.

Following her lead more kids ventured onto the slide but no one would go down.

Then I got to see some of the does.  The one in the back is Saddle. The one in the front is Quesadilla.

This is Dolly B Bossy

This is Daisy.  She is a Blue-eyed Doe.

 They were all so friendly!

I had a blast!  A big THANK YOU goes to Dr. Flanary for allowing me to visit!!!
