What is Day Care? When momma is unable to take us somewhere we go to Day care (our momma's grandmother's house). Our momma's grandmother is our Doggie Nanny. Also Day care is next door...How cool is that? Day Care is where Aunt Dolly used to live before she went to the bridge. Now everyone will know what we are talking about when we say we go to day care.

Yesterday our house was full of drama. Momma took us up to daycare at noon and went grocery shopping. Well while at day care we found this pawsome pile of "Country Stuff" outside that smelled WONDERFUL! When I let Bobo have a turn, the Doggie Nanny came out and yelled at us to stop that and come back in. Bobo didn't even get a whole roll in. Then, you will not believe what she did, she bathed us. We pleaded with her and told her that we were just bathed on Wednesday. She just wouldn't listen.
When momma came to pick us up we were so excited that she was going to take us home but then....We smelled her...She smelled like 15 different dogs....How could she? She sat us down on the porch and explained that she was taking photos of the homeless doggies for South Paws Express website. Since she is helping homeless dogs I guess we can forgive her. And our new birdie toy helps mend our broken hearts.

ReplyDeleteSorry you got another bath. What is wrong with hoomans? Just when we start to smell good, they say we "stink" and need washed. My mom told me just last night my butt stank! Can you believe that?!?! I guess that means it's bath time for me and Banjo.

How lucky you are to have a doggy nanny right next door - too bad she has that bath thing going on in her head. But that's a very cute birdie - did you defeather or destuff it yet?

A bath, oh the horror of it all. Next time make sure one of you is on lookout and take turns rolling in the heavenly aroma. It is nice that you have day care so close by and you got toys. Not a bad day, all in all.

Sheesh - just when you start smelling good, the humans want to wash it off you. Weaklings with under-developed senses of smell. Good thing they provide treats and toys, and scratchies, or, well... what would be the point in keeping them around?

ReplyDeleteWe're sorry you guys got two baths in one week and that you don't like them. We don't mind baths. We got a bath last night. Our Mom & Dad sometimes cheat on us too, but we always forgive her. I think since your mom was cheating for a good cause, that this time you can let it slide. Your new birdie looks like a fun toy!
