Every year we look forward to the Halloween holiday! We love dressing up and thinking about all the treats we will recieve and all the parties we will attend. Since this is our first year celebrating Halloween with our blog friends we are hosting a costume contest. Any dog, cat, horse, or goat can enter as long as they enjoy the dressing up and posing. (That part was added for you Sasha...BOL) Please submit your photo(s) via the Pee Mail link on the right tool bar. You may start sending in your photos now and they will be accepted until midnight October 24th 2009. On Monday October 26 we will post all of the entries and then on October 31 2009 we will post the winners, hand out awards, and prizes will be mailed. There will be 2 winners chosen one for most original/unique costume and one for best set up (use of props and background). We cannot wait to see what our fabulous blog friends can come up with!

This is adorable. I liked the old shots, too. Great idea! I may not be participating because Halloween is my mother's birthday and I have so much to do for that, it's hard to dress up the dog too!

Love all the pics! I had a pic of Patachou (angel rottie) wearing a skunk outfit but for some or other reason that pic has disappeared. He looked so cute. He loved to wear cloths!

Wow this sounds like fun. The only dress up pictures I have of the kitties are for Christmas last year (and I don't have one of all of them, since one was not born yet). I had been thinking it could be fun to try for Halloween - now I have an even better reason to try it out!!

Autumn in general and Halloween in particular was always my favorite part of the year when we lived back in New York!
