Well I escaped Monday...By running off to my Doggy Nanny's house. Mommas wasn't going to let that happen again and got me in the grooming room.
She did leave me some hair...Thankfully as its getting golder here. She did go all fancy pants on me and gave me a banded neck. That is where my neck is shaved short while my body is longer. I think I am one handsome boy!
Now presenting our newest foster dogs. Their names are Abby and Monster and they are a mother and son. We are changing and their names...Momma and grandma are thinking Phil and Lil (from the rugrats). When they got here they got a bath and a quick groom. They both had a few hair mats. We will have momma get more pictures tomorrow.

Hey can you guess what today is? No, Well it is my official Gotcha day!
I am so excited!

For those who do not know my story....
Back in 2003 momma just had this "I want a puppy feeling" so they contacted the poodle breeder that they got Bobo from. She did not have any puppies at the time but the breeder did mention that she had a female that was spayed and needed a home. The very next night momma and grandma cam just to "look". While there the breeder told them that I had trouble with my last litter and had to be spayed so I was "useless" (her term not mine). She also mentioned that I had already gone to another home and was brought back because their daughter had allergies to me. After hearing all of that momma knew she couldn't leave me there. So even though momma wasn't sure that this would work out (can you believe that) she took me anyway. At first I had to endure alot of vet visits and ear infections but now am healthy. I also had to battle alot of basic things like walking on a leash, going potty outside, and being touched by humans...Oh boy do I have all of those thing down pat plus some. So that is my story...Sad start happy end!

Happy Gotcha Day Mollie Jo - I am so glad that you and your mom are together. It sounds like you are very lucky to be in such an awesome home after being with someone who would call you useless. How awful is that. But now you are beautiful and happy in your home.
ReplyDeleteAnd Phil and Lil are adorable - I like the name Abby but it is pretty comon now (I know a doggie and girl with the name) so I think Phil and Lil are perfect! Plus, I admit it, I watched Rugrats - yeah, I am an adult and yeah, I don't have kids but it was just a nice little break every now and then. So I love that is where your mom got the name!
Happy Gotcha Day!
