Two of grandma's co-workers are going through a tough time right now. Their doggies are hurt and needing the power of the paw to get better.
This is Pancake, a dachshund mix, who was attacked by a Great Dane. The great dane was a foster that her mom took in from a local shelter. Sadly once he arrived he attacked poor Pancake and she lost some muscle and had to have 17 stitches.
After a week of bed rest she is doing better but still has a long way to come.
This is Daisy Mae and she is a poodle mix who was hit by a car today. She is currently at the vet with a big gash on her head and a collapsed lung. The vet said that she will be needing surgery.
We wish both of these pups a quick and full recovery. Until they are healed keep them in your puppy prayers.

How my heart bleeds for these two doggies. It's so sasd to know that they have to go through the pain. I also wonder why the Great Dane attacked the dachshund mix when Great Danes are supposed to be gentle giants. Probably he was not obedience trained since according to what I read from http://www.trainpetdog.com/Great-Dane/about-great-dane.html Great Danes are to start obedience training before he is six months old and continue through the first two years of his life. Or he was just not socialized. I'll pray for their quick recovery.
