Well we are proud to tell you this is our post #300! We are so happy we have made it to this big milestone.
To celebrate we would like to dedicate this post to a beloved girl that made to trip to the Rainbow Bridge 1-30-2009.
In 1997 Tigger (Doggy Nanny's Husband) brought home this lil bundle of furs. At first Doggy Nanny didn't want another dog. After many weeks of going back and forth they decided to keep her and we think they made a furry smart decision!
Isn't she a cutie patootie!
Our momma was only 7 years old when Dolly first came here and she would spend the night many weekends at Doggy Nanny's house and look forward to playing with Dolly.
Her favorite spot in the house was on the couch by the window. Just outside that window was a tree where many squirrels played. She would sit and watch the tree for hours. Sometimes even falling asleep!
Whew look at that most hairy chocolate poodleman! I must admit Dolly raised me well. When I was still a young pup she would hold toys for me as I played tug. I didn't know it then but she always let me win. We would hunt squirrels together, snoopervise together, and do tricks for treats together.
A short year and a half later our dynamic duo became the terrific trio!

Dolly spent many years here as the only doggie. Then along came a special chocolate poodle named BOBO! See I loved my Dolly girl and liked to have my head touching her while I napped.

She even went along with mommas most silly photo shoots.
She loved Christmas and going through all the bags to see what was inside!
She would spend lots of time at our house whenever Doggy Nanny and Tigger were out. We loved that!
As she got older she started getting aurthor-i-tis and slowed down. In 2008 she took out after a squirrel and jumped off the porch and tore the tendens in her leg. So after that Dolly rode around in her lil red wagon and we were happy to hop in and keep her company!
This picture was the last one ever taken of our Dolly and we are glad it was because she looks happy and healthy here and thats how we want to remember her! During the massive Ice Storm of January 2009 the stress of being in below freezing temps and without power took its toll on her and she got very sick. So Doggy Nanny made the decision no owner wants to make. She decided to let her go to live at the Rainbow Bridge.
Congrats on the 300th post! Your Aunt Dolly was very beautiful and your post was a beautiful tribute to her as well.
