So the other day I was thinking....I know for a young pup its hard but I have a most troubling delemmia. Daycare momma went and brought me home to my furever momma on April 30th 2010 that was 6 weeks ago. Can you believe that in 6 whole weeks my momma has not named me yet?!?!?!?! 
Sure you all know me as Uncle Puppy but that was supposed to be a cool nickname for Mollie and Bobo to use not for everyone to call me like all the time.

My momma says I am just so UNIQUE that she can't find a name that correctly describes me. I must admit I am one fine, extra ordinanary, super talented boy...but come on I need a name!
Mollie what do you think my momma should name me?

Mollie's response was not so nice and I shall not repeat it as I am only a little pup and wish not to get in trouble.

ReplyDeleteSix weeks is a very long time to be with out an official name. My cuzin Thatcher only had to go four days and we all thought that was a long time. Anyhoo..out of the list of names your momma keeps in her notebook, my mom and me likes Charlie the best!

What about Yupee (pronounced U P) so it is keeping with the Uncle Puppy theme - and it is unique for sure! We love Uncle Puppy and think it is good as a name or nickname, but if you and your mom feel that you need an official name, well, we think you should have one! Otherwise all the ideas listed are great - though to us you don't really seem like a "Bear" - you seem a bit too sweet for that one!

ReplyDeleteThe first time you asked about a real name I thought you looked like a Jack, so that's my vote. You can keep Uncle Puppy as a nickname, but someday you won't be a puppy anymore! Then Mollie and Bobo can call you Uncle Jack.

Naming is so hard. Luckily our pooches came with fall-back names in case we couldn't think of a better one. And even after we named them, each year I come up with a "I wish I would have named you _______" name.

We're pretty keen on Uncle Puppy - that's a pretty cool name. But you could go by Uncle. (All that said, Mom and Dad named me and Abby after characters on teevee shows that they like...)
