Here in our neck of the woods we are not getting enough rain. We have a photo to prove it. The people who owns the field across the street from us had a pile of limbs to burn and because we haven't had a decent rain in a long time the ground was dry, the fire spread and burned up the field. We heard from the neighbors and Doggy Nanny that the fire marshall was called and everything. Of course this was at dusk and we were out deer hunting when all this was going on so we didn't get to see all the excitement.

We wish we could send you some rain - it looks cloudy here like it could rain, and we had flooding last weekend so we could use some drier weather. It is too bad the field burned up - hopefully it didn't cause too many problems when that happened.

I'm glad your house didn't burn up!!! My mom went on vacation last weekend and her vacation was flooded. They got 14 inches of rain in 2 nights there!
