Mysterious Monday

We have a bit of a mystery on our paws today. I noticed that Bobos face was puffy this weekend but it is allergy season and its not that new for him. This morning I noticed that it looked like there is a bit of hair loss and a bump on it. Could this be a bug bite or a burn? If things continue to look worse I will be taking him to the vet tomorrow.

Here is one shot with the flash...

...and one with out the flash.

  1. Oh NO!!! We sure hope it clears up on it's own and no trip to the vet is needed.

  2. Well, it looks like a bite of some sort. Maybe he has been scratching and rubbing it making him loose the hair. But, I'm not certain. Puddles is doing the same thing around her face too but she doesn't have a bump...and she is my lemon dog so everything happens to her.

  3. Looks like he could have been bite by a bug and is rubbing it! I would put some first aid cream on it. I hope he doesn't have to go to the vet's office.

  7. OH MY DOG!! I had almost the same things on my chin a couple weeks ago!!!! But they were little bumps that were scratched open ... Mommy had no idea what they were and just put Neosporin on it and they cleared up. Hope it's nothing serious!

  8. Chewy had almost the same thing on his lip. Our vet did a little scraping (we had brought him with us to Lilibell's appointment to have our vet look at it) and said it was really nothing, almost like a human gets zits. She said to just keep an eye on it, and it went down within a week. Now, I can't remember if Chewy's looked exactly like that, this had happened last year, but it was in his lip area. I hope you guys don't have to make a trip to the vet and keep us updated.

  13. Could be an allergy, but it also kind of reminds me of when I had trouble with my immune system and started to lose furs and get bumps so I would get it checked out.

  14. Could be an insect bite or just an allergy from rubbing on something. - hope you solve the mystery. Snooter kisses to him from us.
