APRIL FOOLS! BOL You all didn't really think we would let a CAT anywhere near out blog (please to our Cat readers...No offense).
Anyhoo...We now return you to our regularly scheduled posting.
Monday Hunny just got her basic shots and a heartworm check....We didn't want to scare her even worse by having other things done.
So she was back at the vets office yesterday afternoon.
Waiting....
Hunny reading the material in the vets office.
"OH NO...is there someone on the other side of that door?!?!?"
Well everything went just fine. They got her nails clipped, bottom glands expressed, and ears checked. She does have an infection and has little drops to put in them for 10 days. The doctor gave her an all over exam and said she is a lil thin at 20.4 pounds but in good shape. They said with the way her belly looks she very recently had a litter of pups. Thats so sad...I hope her pups got a better life.
------------------------------
This morning the Doggy Nanny called and told us that Hunny started clicking. We couldn't believe it...only 4 days and she has clicked! Clicking is the moment when a scared rescue dog figures out that they are in a good place and they begin to relax and enjoy the people, dogs and environment around them.
Doggy Nanny said that when she opened the night night crate door Hunny walked right out (before she had to pull her out). Then she started walking through the house and picking up objects in her mouth and checking them out. She even started rolling around on the bed and being silly...not scared!
Once she arrived for daycare she jumped right on the big bed and started looking out the window and playing with Mollie's toys. When the Doggy Nanny walked out the door she got worried and started to run to the door but momma got some treats and made things better.
After our morning walk she came in and did this....
...and this...What a silly girl....she is so relaxed now.
Look at her on the leash now....It is amazing how dogs can change in just 4 days. We are happy that she is happy now!
Yay for Hunny! We thinks it's most appropriate to gives the award to Hunny. Are ya sure she shouldn't make her furever home with you guys?
