It's Yard Sale Season

That's right its Yard Sale Season! We went to the first one this morning. The best part is that is was at a church and it benefits the Ronald McDonald house. It's a win-win situation!

Grandma got some magazines, I got a flip flop diaper bag, and momma got this new purse. It even has "D" monogram on it. And you know "D" is for dog!!! BOL

Joey and Charlie's Adventure

Well Charlie and Joey went on an adventure today.

First stop was to see Melissa at the Vet Clinic to have his neuter stitches taken out. He doesn't seem to look to happy bouts that.

On the way to their destination they even saw an Amish horse and buggy.

Then they fell asleep.

But when they woke up they were in their new foster homes. We allowed them to go on to new foster homes (still in our rescue though) so that momma could focus on Betty as she is so scared of humans. Here are Charlies new foster siblings Jake and Bella. They were all playing by the time the visit was over. Joey is being fostered by Jake and Bella's Aunt and next door neighbor.

We wish them all the luck and hope everything goes well.

Terrible Tuesday

During the day the temps are finally returning to a comfortable degree. Today we were just sittin' on the porch minding our business and....

The scooter doctor came to check out the blue scooter...see I think with the cold temps it got the flu or some other scooter disease.

Uncle Puppy kept his eye on her while she worked.

Us girls monitored the situation from the porch.

Uncle Puppy found a nice stick to chomp on while he watched her.

Brother kept a look out for stray squirrels.

OH MY!!!

She done dismantled it!

She said that she was unable to revive it in the field so it would have to be taken to the hospital. So she loaded it up and drove away. We hope she returns it soon!!!

Pupdate on my Addiction

Today marks my 4 days clean from hitting the BBQ sauce. Momma was so proud that she allowed me to go leash free and I obeyed every time. So hopefully if I can be strong my leash arrest will be completely over!

Frightening Friday

This morning momma was on FB, as usual, and she saw a post from our neighbor who saw a semi crash outside her window on St. Route 131. So me and momma hopped on the scooter went to investigate. The police was out and everything!

The back just split in two! The road was closed for 6 hours while they cleaned up the mess. Momma submitted her pictures and they were featured on the midday news. Our neighbors video of the scene was featured on the 5pm news.

On the news there were no reports of injuries but this was still frightening!

Hope everyone has a FUN not frightening weekend!!!

Grillin' & Chillin' & Sewin'

Yesterday we had a fabulous day. We cooked burgers on the grill.

I meditated on not hitting the BBQ sauce again.

Brother did some Doga.

Just after we got inside with the foodables the clouds filled the sky, we didn't get any rain but a big cold front rolled in and took out 70 degree weather away.

Uncle Puppy wouldn't come in...

...threw a fit...he like the cold cloudy day!

So we went to the sewing center and put the finishing touches on the Bags for the Auction winners.

Its been so fun! They will be going out tomorrow afternoon.

PSA: Just Say NO to BBQ

BBQ is quite a tasty treat for humans. Tender meat with special sauce and spices. Oh its making my mouth water as I type!

As most human food is, BBQ is too rich and too fatty for dogs. But when the neighbors inconsiderately leave a BIG pile of smelly tasty meat, fat, sauce and bones in the horse pen its more than a pup can do to resist this temptation. Me and Uncle Puppy have gone down there every chance we get to snack on this feast of the century. Now me and Uncle Puppy have upset tummies and upset mommies.

Although I have gone back even this morning for one last taste of the sauce (grandma wasn't watching so I sneaked off...BOL) I must send this important warning:

Feel free to repost!

Blog2Print Blogbooks

Today we got our 2009, 2010 (Volumes 1-3) and 2010 Remembered Blog books. We are quite impressed with the quality of the books, they are top notch! We worried Blog Books would be expensive but ended up actually being affordable. $24.95 for a 20 page hardcover book and on $0.35 for extra pages. To top it off as we were working on the books we received an email containing a 15% off coupon code. The only problem we came across was each hardcover book is only able to have 1500 pictures. Therefore the dogs with lotsa photos, like us, will have to divide the blog into volumes. So we divided up the books by each year and then by volume 1-3 as needed. Once we worked out just how to divide the year into volumes, cause some parts of the year had more pictures than others, it was easy sailing.

When you create your own book you can choose from 31 covers, add front and back cover photos, Title and bi-line on front cover, dedication page, table of contents, comments, and you can remove any post you do not want featured in your book.

We highly recommend Blog2Print and love the final product!!!!

The books we ordered 2009 and 2010 Volume 1 contained pre-Uncle Puppy posts and he was most excited, to say the least, to read bouts our adventures!

Bobo did what?!!?!?!?!

Charlie's Postie

This past Wednesday I got neutered. I got the all clear on my bloodwork and my dental went grrreat! My toofers are shiny and white now.

I got chipped while I was under and have a pretty new tag.

Foster momma wanted to get a picture of me post-neuter but I gave her more than she asked for. I posed. She was not impressed!

I don't feel too bad. My bottom is kinda sore but nothing to be worried about.

This is how I sleep in my exercise pen. With my front legs and nose poking through the bars. BOL

When I get board this is how I pass the time in my exercise pen.

I run and make my ears fly!

Do sideways, cross legged moves.

Touch one side of my exercise pen with my paw.

And jump up and down.

So does that make me crazy? All I want is to get foster mommas attention.

Jumps and Yips,
Charlie the Cheese man!

Fashion Friday: Petco Edition

Well furiends it Friday again and we have another exciting post filled with Fashion.

This time we visited Petco to see what they have to offer for the Spring/Summer 2011 season.

As mentioned in the last Fashion Friday post graphic tees and tanks are really getting popular with humans and now they are hitting the dog scene. I was extremely happy to see that Petco offered a pink Graphic tank for girls and...

...a ROCKING graphic tank for the boys!

Harnesses made a big hit last year and this year they are coming back with a whole new style. They come in 6 great pink and purple designs...Sorry boys this ones not for you! We love the step-in style and easy to use buckle on the back.

The wordy tanks are usually a big hit and this one doesn't disappoint. What better message to tell your new furiends?!?!

Petco is now offering a new "Puppy Love" collection. Now sizes are totally different so be careful when you shop. They offered this sweet and simple design in pink or blue with brown trim. Now the new pups on the block can get off on the right paw when making the neighborhood debut!

Only seen in high end boutiques before denim jeans are making their way to a Petco near you.

If you prefer a skirt this three ruffle denim number with single pocket is sure to impress.

For the pups who love their bling these rinestone detailed jeans are the ones for you.

Of course if you go with the bling jeans you will need a classy necklace to go with it. So for the first time ever at Petco the pink jewel necklace. Its an all around great accesory for a girlie pup to own!

Now for the hottest trend of the Summer 2011 Season is the Nautical Theme. At Petco they have red and white tank for the boys...

...and the ever stylish pink with navy detail dress for girls!
