Our Wild Week!

Hello pupfriends and kit-Cats. We had a super busy week last week. We had lots of changes, lots of good times, and lots of tears. We want you to know this is going to be a bit of a long post but well worth the read as you will learn alot about what has been going on.

Well we have new haircuts...We got our summer shave down. We feel fabulous and enjoy being outside again. Momma says this is her best groom ever....She is so proud of how far her grooming has come since last August when she first started!

A month ago momma made us some camo quilts and recently got them back from the quilter, but grandma has to put the edging on before we can show them so well will try to hurry her along.

Our quilter Ms. Brenda took in two homeless cats after their owner just abandon them after his divorce. Well turns out both were expecting....and had 10 lil babies. Ms. Brenda took care of them for 6 weeks in her home and now is adopting the babies out.

Well there was still one problem....Both of the mom's were unspayed. So our momma offered to help Ms. Brenda out and take them to our rescue vet (to get a discount on their spays) and have them vaccinated and spayed. So now there are two more spayed cats in the world.

Aren't they pretty? Well they will be living furever with Ms. Brenda so we know they will be taken care of.

We have some sad yet happy news about Miss Hunny Bunny. She no longer lives with the Doggy Nanny. DN felt that she was not happy in her home due to all of her fears (her biggest being of Doggy Nanny's husband). So we decided that going back to her original breeder (who expressed in the past that she wanted her back) was the best option we had for her. Mrs. Welch reports that Hunny has mostly overcome all of her fears...she and Mrs. Welch's granddaughter are the best of friends. We are happy that she is happy but sad that she is not here with us. It was a hard decision but one our whole family feels is the best one. Mrs. Welch says that Hunny will stay with her furever.

Bobo is taking this hard...he loved her and loved playing with her.

Hunny we wish you all the best!

Monday April 12, 2010 momma, the doggy nanny, bobo and I made the long journey to meet Mrs. Welch in Poplar Bluff, MO.

When we met Mrs. Welch in MO she said that she feels awful that one of her puppies ended up in a bad breeders hands and that she has so many issues. She wanted to find a way to thank Doggy Nanny for taking such good care of her so she offered one of the puppies from her litter to her. Doggy Nanny had to think on it but after just 2 days...Called Mrs. Welch back and said "YES" So we will be getting a new uncle puppy soon! Doggy Nanny said that after fostering Bonnie (AKA Maggie Mae) and Hunny she really wants a dog of her own to keep forever and this one seemed to "find her" so it was meant to be. We don't know when we will be picking Uncle Puppy up yet...but will keep you pupdated on the situation.

We got to stop in a cool pet supply store. Momma found me, Bobo, and grandma grand Christmas Presents! She shops early to beat the rush.

We also went to a cool Ice Cream shop....Momma and Doggy Nanny got Rocky Road...We got a lil bite...It was pawsome!

The rest of the week grandma had 2 huge papers to write and momma had tons of homework and labs....So we didn't do much except keep them company while they studied.

Saturday morning we headed out to hit some yard sales and saw a huge hole in our tree line... and found this on our street...

Then we went around back and found found a tree chopper in our back yard...They were cutting trees that were in the way of the power lines.

After that we headed to Murray, KY to attend the Calloway County Humane Society Yard Sale.

We met a real therapy dog...Him and his momma were the door greeters.

We actually got to touch noses with this big fella...He is a great Pyrenees dog. Wow...He was big. Sitting in our buggy's we still had to stretch to sniff his nose...BOL

We got lots of goodies...tin dog food bowls (so the fosters don't eat our plastic ones)....a rolling back back....some dog paw bracelets...some books...and much more.

Of course momma got all googly eyed when she saw a tag machine...Do they make a group for dog tag addictions? She got some new tags....But they are pretty cute and will look great with some of the collars she (is promising) to sew us.

We were a huge hit...Every one loved seeing us in our buggy's and thought we were some of the best behaved doggies they had seen. We are proud of that title! This is us waiting for our tags to be engraved...we were watching the other shoppers go in and come out with arm fulls of stuff.
...Want to know why we are stuffed in one buggy....well grandma made Bobo get in my buggy so she could keep shopping and fill his with merchendise....hmm...I wonder who they bought these buggy's for us or them?

Wags and Licks,
Mollie Jo & Bobo
