Happy 4th of July

Well Frankie Furter had a wonderful idea that on the 4th of July all the doggie bloggers post how they got their names. We are proudly pawticipating in this fun event!!!

Since I have been here the longest I shall go first. When momma first got me she was going to have my registered name as "Katie's Coco Kiss" and my call name be Coco. Well that lasted for about oh 2 months. One day Doggy Nanny came out on the porch where we were all sitting and tried to call me and talk to Tigger (her husband whos name is Bob) and it came out Bobo. After that day Coco was out and Bobo stuck and there you have it...Thats how I got my name.

When momma adopted me I already had a name...Molly. Momma liked the name so I kept it but she wanted it to be different so she dropped the Y and added IE. Momma thought that I should have a middle name and after trying a few different ones she settled on Mollie Jo. I love having two names it makes me feel extra special!

As I technically have no name yet I will tell you why I am called Uncle Puppy. My mom is Mollie and Bobo's Doggy Nanny who is Mollie and Bobo's momma's grandmother. Therefore I am Mollie and Bobo's Uncle. Hence the name Uncle Puppy!

That was a fun game! Thanks Frankie!!!

In other news Petco released their summer grooming charms. One of grandma's co-workers was going to Cape Giradeau, Mo and agreed to pick them up for us. Thanks!

Wags and Licks,
Mollie Jo & Bobo
& Uncle Puppy

  3. Mollie Jo, you ARE special! And SO CUTE!!!! And we still think that 'Uncle Puppy' is a perfect name, and no need to change it. And Bobo - funny how our names come about! Thanks for sharing - we love hearing the stories behind everyone's names!

  4. So good to hear where everyone got their names! Poor Uncle Puppy, still with no name, though - I bet Uncle Puppy ends up sticking permanently! You and I need to get together BTW - I think we might have almost as many collars as you have tags!

And I luvs Bobo and Mollie Jo's names, too. I think I told you that my mom had an Uncle Poodle named Bobo and mom and dad used to have a kitteh named Molly. So those are two very special names!

  9. OK, Uncle Puppy, we think we followed all that relations stuff, but we still think you are too young to be their uncle:) We still like your name. And Mollie Jo, our mom's first name ends in "ie" too so that is cool. Bobo - we think you make a much better Bobo than Coco:)

Hope you all had a good day for the 4th!!!
