No Deer on Duffey Rd.

Yesterday evening we were sitting on the porch when we saw two deer in the field across the street from our house.

The one above is a female and the one below is a male so they must have been boyfuriend and girlfuriend.

After seeing them it made us want to go deer hunting. Can we go Momma?

ALRIGHT!

We saw little dogs....

....and pretty spotted horses.

Sadly we also saw a sign advertising free puppies. It makes us sad they there are puppies dieing in shelters and yet people still will not get their animals spayed and neutered. We hope these pups find good homes.

When we saw this street we thought it would be perfect and we could see lots of deer.

We saw bunnies....

....and lots of pretty cows.

This big girl was talking to us she said "Mooo...mOOOOO....MoO...mOo....MoO".

We saw black dogs....

...and yellow dogs...

...but we ask you....Where are the deer?

As we were coming to the end of Duffey Rd. we saw some trees that were...well...a little too close to the edge.

We told momma to drive REAL fast by them. We don't want to become poodle pancakes!

Even if there were no Deer on Duffey Rd. We still had fun seeing bunnies, big dogs and white cows.

  1. Well, even if you didn't finds any deer, you still had a big adventure and got to see lots of fun things. That one doggie looks a lot like my Brudder Ranger but Brudder Ranger says it's prolly a Jack Russell. He's still cute, though!

Oh, and we just read your story abouts sweet l'il Cowboy! I'm so very much happy he found his Most Pawfect Home That Ever Was! But why would somebuddy just throw away a puppy like that? Peoples sure don't make sense sometimes.

  2. You are soooo lucky to have all of that excitement and wildlife in your neighborhood! My mom would've thought she had died and gone to heaven if she saw deer and cows and puppies all in one evening! She thinks she's meant to live on a farm so she can live the "good life" but fur now she lives in the city and that's okay fur now cuz she's got me and my cat brothers and her man....heehee!

  5. Mollie Jo and Bobo,

I has missed you! It looks like you guyz had tons o' fun on your deer hunting car ride. No deer but you saw lots of other intersting things. It makes me and mom so angry when we sees signs like that too. Some peoples is just stoopid. I went back to older posts of yours and saw that Lolly Pop was adopted...yay for hers! I will miss her but am happy that she has found a furever home.

  7. At least you got a fun ride in the car. AND you got to see lots of other animals. Those trees were a bit intimidating - hope they don't fall over on a car or something.

  11. If you go visit my Granny and Grandpa's house, I think they've got tons of deer, and my Granny would love to have furocious doggies such as yourself chasing them away from her garden!

  14. I suppose the deer had some sort of advance warning that there were mighty hunters approaching. You did see some interesting critters, but no deer. Sigh. Better luck next time.
