What a Week!!!!

Since we got back from the hotel lifes been pretty dull around here till Tuesday. Betty Came back to our rescue. Things just didn't work out. Thats alright though because that is the point of our rescue to place the right dog with the right family. Her and Uncle Puppy have made fast furiends.

And she is getting quite comfy here!

Thursday we had to take a quick trip...Look whats on my back...

Yep it's Uncle Puppy. He thinks he is our size and can fit in our bed with us!

On the way we saw some cute baby donkeys playing...

Whats in there Miss Betty?

Gift Certificates. Dogtor Flanary donated them for our Good Dog! Basket that we are going to raffle to benefit the Benton Marshall County Humane Society.

Then we got some heartbreaking news. Charlie has been diagnosed with LEGG-CALVE`-PARTHES DISEASE. He had surgery earlier this week and came through the surgery just fine. The surgery will cost his new mom upwards of $700. Now we keep up with our dogs and will do anything to help because they are still part of our family. So...

Momma and grandma are sewing like nobody's business making quilts to raffle.

They have 4 quilts done already. They are at the quilters now.

Whew in the midst of all that momma has been doing finals and finished her last one yesterday. Thank dog!

Plus we have the big event coming up this weekend...the Benton Marshal County Humane Society Paws and Claws Pet Festival. So momma has been working feverishly on her Pet Education and Puppy Mill awareness display boards.

And me a brand new dress! Oh yes I will be in Bright yellow live from my sock monkey bed!!!

It will be Sunday before we can show you all the pictures from this fabulous event but rest assured there will be lots of fun pictures to share!!!!
