Here Birdie Birdie

This afternoon we were just sitting on our porch just watching our yard.

When momma saw a pretty bird and snapped its picture.

Momma got an idea in her head and said lets go!

To the shed we go!

There it is...The old bird feeder. Momma hasn't put it up in two years but decided that it was time to put it up again. She wants to get birds in the yard so that she can take their picture.

After a good cleaning she got it up on the pole....We didn't get any birds today...she said we have to put seed in it before they will come...so while we are out tomorrow we will pick some up.

  2. We can't wait to see what kinds of birds you get in your yard. We have to be careful with the birds around here because some are Great Horned Owls and Falcons.

  3. Our birdie feeder haven't been up in a long long time either. We do have some woodpeckers though and they is so noisy. Oh yea, we got some hawks too. When I see the hawk I go in cuz the vet say they can swoop down and pick me up. Imagine the horror.

  9. I love birdies!! Mama has put feeders up PLUS it gives me a reason to make sure the squirrels stay out of our yard and do NOT eat the bird food!!

  16. My momma likes to take photos of the birds too. We used to fill a feeder but those danged squirrels eat all the food. Yes, I know, squirrels need to eat too but they are pigs! That first photo makes me jealous. It is not warm enough here yet to tan my tummy outside. I am glad you guys got some sunbathing in....next time think of me when you are out there!

  17. Ooh, that was a pretty bluebird!! We don't have them here yet, because it's still too cold. Maybe next month...

Anyway, if I saw a bluebird, or any bird, I would chase it out of the yard. I don't allow any birds in MY yard (hee hee)
