First it started with a bath.
Then we got out all the tools momma needed and the process begun.

...then we rediscovered my tail...
...then we rediscovered my tail...
...and my back...
...And would ya'll look at what we discovered....I am getting another dark spot. Its a cluster of wirey hair. I get them from time to time then they disappear.
Remember when we overnighted the two poodles that were in hideous condition. Well their new mommy reports they are doing good! They just got their first hair cut too. Don't they look fabulous?!?!?

TaiChi had dark spots like that, but they were on her skin - just age spots. Didn't detract from her beauty at all! Hopefully your Mom didn't leave that stripe down the back! ;-)
