We Need Rain!

Here in our neck of the woods we are not getting enough rain. We have a photo to prove it. The people who owns the field across the street from us had a pile of limbs to burn and because we haven't had a decent rain in a long time the ground was dry, the fire spread and burned up the field. We heard from the neighbors and Doggy Nanny that the fire marshall was called and everything. Of course this was at dusk and we were out deer hunting when all this was going on so we didn't get to see all the excitement.

Thinking Thursday

On this fine Thursday morning Uncle Puppy arrived for daycare and I assumed my whispering position to make him calm down.....

....and as he was slappin' my tiny head with his BIG ol' paws I was thinking.....

I remember when we went to MO is pick up a little fluff ball pup that was very tiny.

Pupdate: As per the toofer situation...We never found the toofer...We only noticed that one was missing while we were being loaded up in the car to go bye bye.

BREAKING NEWS!!!!!!!!!

Uncle Puppy has lost a baby tooth! YEA!!! Only 41 left until he looses all his SHARP puppy toofers!

This is the best news we have had all week.

Mystery Monday

Well we were just sitting in the recliner with momma reading the blogs when all of a sudden we heard some furry loud noises. We went outside to check it out but didn't see anything.

Before heading inside we looked one more time and there it is....Its a crop duster plane. He was flying in the fields just down the street from out house and turning around over our house.

We sat outside and watched him go to the right....

...and to the left...

Then we drove down to the field to watch him in action.

What an exciting thing to see on a Monday Morning!

Deer Hunting

GUESS WHAT GUESS WHAT!!!!

We got to go deer hunting tonight!

We love seeing the country side.

Things got interesting real fast! In this field we saw 4 deer.

Not far from the field we turned onto another country road and 3 more.

While the one above stayed and watched us the other two took off at lightning speed.

Thats alot of hay!


This little Cow was quite a talker and watched us real close.

In one yard we saw 2 poodles...Who knew there were other country poodles in our area? They barked at us and we barked back!

Then you will never believe what we saw....A goat in someones front yard! He stopped and stared at us as we went by. He has furry cool horns!

Whew! We had a furry exciting deer hunting experience. In all we saw countless cows, 10 deer, 2 poodles and 1 goat. Momma says we will go again later this week. We can't wait!!!

A Little Lolly Pop

Today we have some new pictures of Lolly Pop. Many of our furiends were asking what breed she is....Well she is indeed a Chihuahua.

With our young or tiny fosters momma likes to take their picture next to something and chart their growth. The first object is our good furiend Lilac.

Here she is next to a regulation size can of soup.

Each week she is here we will take her picture next to these items to see how much she grows.


Here she is outside on one of the chairs soaking up some sun.

We were a little unprepared for her arrival but we did finally get her pen settle properly and here it is! I tested it to make sure it was ok for her.

Then it was time for her to test it....

She would rather grandma just hold her as she has for the past 3 days. You outta hear the screams this girl can do...OH MY!

Well yesterday we had to run an errand. The toy asile at Petsmart my favorite!

Oh they all smell so good!

Here is what we actually came for....Puppy pads and chew bones for Lolly Pop.

Ring it up! If she is on sale we will take her...BOL BOL

When we got back to the car she found all the toys I keep hidden in MY doggy bed and had a blast!

Since we were at the mall area we decided to stop in at Hobby Lobby. We found some fabric for collars and some ribbon for scrapbooking.

They even had a little pack of doggie charms.

Two stores in one day was a little too much for Miss Lolly Pop and she slept the entire time we were in Hobby Lobby.

Awwww!
