Olan Mills Photo Session

Since Mrs. Annette was getting us all pretty momma decided this was a great time to have official studio pictures!!!  So we loaded up in our strollers...

...And headed to the mall!

After checking the mall directory we found our way to the Olan Mills Studio.

It just so happens that they were running the Pet Portrait Event.  Awww a basket full of kittens.  How cute?!?!?

After momma filled out the new customer card we was in!

Normally you are not allowed to bring your own camera or take pictures inside the studio but momma was all sneak-ey and did it anyway.  She wanted to document our entire studio experience.  First we did some Bobo single shots.

Together shots.

Just me!

BOL then Bobo went for one last try with a little stool.  Momma can I has the treat now?

After the session I was furry tired and things got awfully boring just watching the lady make collages of us so I napped!  This is from momma's view of my napping....

...And grandma's view of my napping!  We gotta show all angles of cuteness!

And presto just like that in the time it takes for me to take a poodle nap our prints and CD were ready!  Cool Milk Bones!

And for your viewing pleasure a photo show of our cute poodle-ee-ness (Mollie-ism)

This is momma's favorite.  It has my poofy ears, Mollie head twist and showcases my neck wrinkles very nicely.  I ain't embarrassed by my wrinkles actually I LOVE them!  They is unique!

Bobo dreaming of turkey and cheese!

Of course it wouldn't be a photo shoot without funny faces!  He is either yawning or coughing up a fur ball.  BOL!

Olan Mills is furry dog furiendly!  We enjoyed our visit and hope to go back someday.

The Official Doggy Room

After two weeks its finally finished!  Welcome to our DOGGY ROOM!

Of course the sign says it all!

This is momma's work station.  We each have a basket for collars that have been worn and need to be put up in their color specific container.

We got these pawsome mats at Tuesday Morning a few months ago.  They were the perfect addition to the work station.

Just above the work station we have our professional portraits.

So while momma is working she can look at our beautiful selves all the time!

Grandma had been planning this special project for some time and when we moved into the Doggy Room she surprised momma and me with this shadow box.  We now have officially retired the flapper costume and it is displayed on the wall with some of my ribbons!

Of course we had to put up momma's diploma.  We helped her study for years to get this!!!

Our Doggy Bags.

Momma's dog tag collection bags.  She collects dog licenses, dog tax tags and old name tags.

Our entire wardrobe.  It took 4 packs of 10 hangers and 3 ten-cents rods!

Here we have our box of retractable leashes, box of travel items, and medicine.

The left box and middle box are actually doggie themed sewing caddy's.

In the green tote we have our tags and charms.  In the little black bag is our grooming supplies.  And on the shelf we have shoes, back packs, and my tutu!

In our snapware boxes we have our leash, collar and harness collection.

Top shelf we have easter baskets and snuzzy mats.  On the bottom shelf we have a big tennis ball and Doodle the dummy dog.

Here we have our book/trophy shelf and stuffy buddy shelf.

Last but not least we a shelf featuring my poodle suitcase, my tea pawty photo, and three little bottles for sand.  We hope to visit the beach some day!

To top off my day I was featured on the news.  I sent in my "Beating the Heat" photo.  Today the temps got up to 106!

Summer Cleaning Leads to a Doggie Room

Last week just as the dust was settling from the spring cleaning we started summer cleaning.  We found bunches of junk to donate.

And bunches of places to nap while momma and grandma did the heavy lifting!

BOL Jiggy you founds a good spot now didn't you?!?!?!?  Jiggles was here for most of it too but was adopted mid way through!!!

When we were cleaning out momma got to thinking....We hate having our studio in the back room with the fabric, our clothes smashed in a box under the sewing machine, and our collars in the living room.  So we bargained with grandma so we could have the little spare bedroom as our doggie room/studio and she could have the larger spare bedroom as her closet room/sewing/fabric room.  She though it was a fair trade and agreed!  So we began the week long task of swapping rooms.  Then we started filling up the shelving unit with our things.  That was one big reason we wanted the little room is it has a huge shelving unit built by Doggy Nanny when she lived here.  Once we added a ten-cents rod voila we have space to hang our clothes!

We put our books, doggie first aid kit and Rufus the doggie bank on the top shelf.

Filled the closet with our doggie bags, props, old scrapbooks, and halloween costumes.

Then we found our winter sweaters and organized them by "nice" sweaters and "outside" sweaters.

Ok we snoopervised via the doggie bed below but made sure momma was doin' it all right!

After many hours and 4 packs of hangers almost all of our clothes made it up on the ten-cents rods.  Don't ya just LOVE looking at them all nice and neat?!?!? We sure do!  We ended up having to buy 4 more packs of hangers and just barely, by the hair of our chins, had enough to hang up all of our clothes!

The other shelves we weren't sure of how to organize so we just piled stuff up there and worked on it bit by bit.

And when the shelves filled up we piled things on the table.

It was at this point I figured it was best to leave the bed under the table and seek shelter in my pink lady cave!

Mid-way through the doggie room redo we went to the groomer and had a special photo session.  You will see those pics soon but to continue with my story of decorating....

After we got our pictures done we had to get them framed so our doggie room would be doggie-rific! (Mollie-ism)

What does that sign say?

Holy poodle doodles!  50% off.  They must have known we needed frames!  Whatta deal!

So went spent literally 875246 hours putting our pictures next to all the frames to see which ones looked best with our fur color....

...and well we found quite a few!  Plus we got a shadows box for grandma's "special project".

Last but not least I picked up this green frame for a special picture I had printed from a few weeks ago.

So you see while momma was dog sitting last week we was busy redecorating!

I promise tomorrow we will have the final results.  Momma had to work yesterday and the day before that had a migrain so we gots a lil behinds.
