We has no Poodle-ing Power

It was a nice quiet Sunday morning an we was watching mom clean and bam the power went off. At first we though mom forgets to pay the bill. But the electric company said a rogue squirrel gots on the lines and blew up a transformer thingie. So I'm just relaxing on the porch watching the birds flutter around.

Vaccines, Exams and a Special Tag

Well it's that time of year again.  Yep annual vaccination time for me!

I got paw my appointment onto the schedule.  How cool milk bones is that?!?!?

On the day of my appointment we had to wake up furry early, eat a good healthy breakfast and go into work with momma

When it was my appointment time Dr. Flanary called me up to the treatment and area pulled out all the tools of torture.

And for my annual "im not cooperating with this" photo.  :)

After vaccinations it was wrestle time with Bobo!

One weekend back in August I was snooping....dusting the rabies tag bin at work and I found this rabies tag with a way cool number, 60310.  "6" is the number of toys I keep in my bed, "03" is the year I was adopted, and "10" is how many years I have been adopted come this November. So I slipped it into the doggie bag and when my vaccination day came I gave it to Dr. Flanary and said I would like this rabies tag.  She giggled that I had chosen my own tag but when I found a tag with a number this special I just had to have it.

Cat-Tracts in my Eye

Well the drops did the trick.  My eye is no longer red!  Which is good.  Dr. Flanary said the next thing to do is check the pressure in my eyes.  I didn't know what this involved or I wouldn't have agreed to it.  This Toto-Pen has to touch the surface of my eye for like a million minutes and then it tells what the pressure is in my eye.  Thank dog I had Buttercup to hold my paw through the whole thing!

The pressure in my right eye, the eye with the cat-tracks, was 19.  It should be under 15.

Dr. Flanary said that I need to continue my eye drops for another 6 weeks and recheck my eye pressure.

So everynight momma or grandma tucks me in to bed, administers my eye drops and gives me a kiss on the head.

This growing older stuff is for the birds!!!

Piggie Sitting

Hello furiends!  You will NEVER guess what we got to do today!

We got to pet-sit a little piggie!  Her name is Penelope.  She is Morgan's (Vet Tech at the clinic) pig.  She is a rescue that she took in and is bottle raising.  For Labor Day Morgan wanted to go to the lake with friends and asked if we would piggie sit.  Well of course we said yes!

She is smaller than my stuffie buddy Buttercup!

Penelope says "Hello my barn yard furiend, I'm Penelope Pig"

She even has her own piggie-bag.  Filled with foods, meds and dishes.  She is a posh piggie!

After we got her home we realized she squealed a lot at new things, like poodles, so we went outside to play while mommy fed her and when we came back inside she was sound asleep!  She is super cute when she sleeps!

We had fun piggie-sitting!  What did you all do on this long weekend?
