Our Thanksgiving Feast

Friday after grandma got home we went up to Doggy Nanny's house to give her the groceries grandma got her and to see how the feast was coming along.

Look at all the foodables!

Begging for a bite.

Then it happened....I got buttered! Doggy Nanny buttered my little head.

We went home to get our Thanksgiving collars and charms.

When we returned we sat patiently for some Thanksgiving nummys!

Oh is that turkey in our bowls?

Why yes it is turkey in bowls...Nothing better than kibble with turkey!

Here is what the humans are feasting on.

The famous chocolate pie. "They" say its wonderful but we wouldn't know "they" won't give us any.

Bobo is watching grandma eating...*SHHHH* I am trying to go unnoticed.

After the foodables the hoomans played progressive rummy. I watched very carefully so make sure all rules were followed.

Jackson even played a few rounds.

When the clock turned 9pm we turned in. It was way past our bed time.

Saturday we woke up and took out all the Christmas decorations we will post about that later after we do our official photo shoot.

A True Thankful Thursday

The wonderful holiday, Thanksgiving, is finally here. This year we have so much to be thankful for so we are going to blog about it. We will actually be watching the parade, eating, and decorating for Christmas on Saturday. Grandma is working to bring home extra money and so that others can be home with their families instead of working.

We are thankful for...our beds! We have so many in our house but, took pictures of the two we like best (other than momma's which we sleep in everynight).

This is our living room crate and top bunk bed. See it even has our names on it.

We are thankful for...our food bucket that keeps our kibble nice and fresh.

We are thankful for...our yard and "lane". We just love the outdoors and love running though our large yard.

We are thankful for...our toys.
Mollie is thankful she finally have some (the first 3 years she didn't)!

We are thankful for...our strollers allow us to go antique shopping with momma.

We are thankful for...being able to go shopping at so many stores. We love checking out everything in the store.

We are thankful for...our charms and dressing up in them!

We are thankful for...our clothes that keep us warm on cold days...And make quite a fashion statement!

We are thankful for...our sweaters which keep us warm on those really cold days.

We are thankful for...our Doggy Nanny who keeps us when momma has to go out. Thank you Doggy Nanny!!!

We are thankful for...our Momma who loves us and takes such good care of us!!!

Last but not least
We are thankful for...our blogging buddies! We love being able to share the chronicles of our lives, as Two County Poodles, with all of you and, in turn, reading about all of you!

We hope every hooman, pup, dog, kitten, and cat has a safe and food filled Thanksgiving Day/Weekend. Saturday we will have momma take tons of pictures of our "Thanksgiving" day feast, parade watching and Christmas decorating.

Sunday at Doggy Nanny's

Sunday afternoon we went to the Doggy Nanny's house.

I was first up the stairs with my ears a flappin'!

Jackson was a close second.

Then Bobo pulling up the rear. Old age must be getting to him.

First thing we get our treats. Notice my lady like method of eating. BOL BOL BOL

Then it's out to give the yard the good ol' sniff. I snoopervised!

~Intermission~
This is the point in the afternoon where the bipeds went to the Mexican restaurant to eat lunch....And they didn't ask if we wanted to go or ask if they could bring a doggy bag back for us.
~End of Intermission~

When they got back we went to the back porch. I sat in the rocker with the best view of Doggy Nanny's back yard...

...But Momma told me to move so I sat in the other rocker with the comfy pillow cushion.

Doggy Nanny brought our her grooming supplies and started grooming grandma's hair. Jackson was scared he might have to get groomed (not his favorite thing) so he hid.

Bobo was unhappy there was no one to hold him.

Amongst the grooming, brattybrotherness, and snoopervising I did manage to find time to do Doga! Notice proper tail position.

Then I decided to sit in the fancy chair.

While the humans talked amongst themselves I took a nap!

Pee Ess: We got an email from Brooke, Greg, Opy, Benson, and Angel Charlie about the DWB Holiday card exchange list. We are excited to pawticipate and are going card shopping soon. How many of our readers pawticipate?

Pee Ess...part 2: The rescue that took Scarlett emailed today and they love her. The director is actually thinking of keeping her. So she will always have a family that loves her! Rock on Scarlett!!!

Scenery Sunday

This is the view from our front porch. We love porch sitting and watching for deer, squirrels, and other wild animals in the field across the street.

Unfortunately now that the leaves have fallen the broken branches are now more visible. So many trees in our area look like this now due to an ice storm back in January 2009.

This is the view from our back porch. From our back yard we can run through the "lane" right into the Doggy Nanny's front yard. Thats Doggy Nanny's house there in the back ground. Thats our favorite part of the yard. Lots of good smells in the lane.

Sweater Weather & Scarlett's Last Hoo-Rah

On Wednesday (we are just now getting to blog this...Hmph) the temp stayed in the 40's and the wind was blowing all day. Once the temps get that low...it's sweater weather!

Group Shot of us snoopervising in sweaters!

In the yard

Porch Sitting

and porch standing

Doing bitey face while zooming in the yard...The cold weather makes pups do CRAZY things.

Then we modeled our "going out" sweaters.

Ok...Can we have the bacon treat now?

Then Thursday the weather decided to warm up so the sweaters had to return to their box. Now we are back to going all natural.
-------------------

Today Scarlett went to a rescue in Louisville KY. They will be handling her adoption. There are alot more possiblities for her there.

We did enjoy having her here!

She learned to stay with "The Pack" while going off leash.

She learned the art of snoopervising from the master.

She learned to walk on a leash properly.

She got to meet the Neighbor dog Peanut. (We will do a post on him soon)

She learned that when you come in...it's treats for everyone!!!

Good Bye and Good Luck Scarlett!

Mollie Jo & Bobo

Pee Ess: Jackson is staying...He will stay until the "RIGHT" home is found...Even if that "RIGHT" home is ours...BOL BOL (and it just might if he doesn't get adopted soon)
