New Foster Lolly Pop and Uppy Update

Uncle Puppy continues to feel great and is back to his old tricks. This morning after momma told him not to eat grandmas shoes he put one on his nose and took a nap! Please note that he had a toy not 4 inches from his head. BOL-BOL-BOL

As momma's facebook furiends know we have a new little foster in our home. She is an owner surrender that momma received last night. The previous owner just couldn't handle such a little dog and wanted her to find an owner who could. On the way home momma came up with a cute little name for her Lolly Pop. I must admit that is just too adorable!

We decided to take her in to Dr. Flanary to get her checked out from head to tail to make sure she didn't have anything. Here is her medical chart.

She got put on the scale and weighs a whole 1.5 pounds.

Next she got her nails clipped...she didn't like that.

After nails came the dreaded puppy booster shot. She cried but got a bag (or in her case a life time supply) of food. BOL

Then it was time to pay....Can we go yet?

Alright lets move! My shirt says "Spoiled Rotten"!

Well that 2 month time period with out having to visit Dr. Flanary didn't work out so well...I now have been 2 times in 3 days. I sure hope momma doesn't get any more fosters I can't take going to the vet again! On the other paw I didn't have anything done to me so all is well that ends well.

Uppy Update

Well we loaded up the car with all the doggies and headed for Dr. Flanary's office yesterday afternoon.

When we arrived there were lots of critters in the waiting room. You can see in this picture that Bobo has his eye one something....hmmmm...

Ah Ha! Its a little peach girlie poodle pup. That boy has it bad for the little peach girls!

We have an interesting update on a discovery we made late 2009. We see that Santa still has his camera in the vets office. So pups you may want to be on your best behavior we don't want any coal in our stockings.

Then Uncle Puppy was called back....I hope momma doesn't try and slip something in on us like a shot or worse!

Why am I up here again?

There is my chart....

...and the doctors tools of torture.

I think I smell chihuahua.

Bloggers be glad momma didn't take a video....Boy can he scream!

Why did they have to do a fecel on me? Haven't I been through enough lately?

As we awaited the results of the fecel test we could hear all sorts of yips, barks, and various animals sounds.

I wonder if I lay real flat if I can get under the door?

Sorry little cockapoo you would not fit.

We also did a little reading while in the vets office. We learned all about the canine eye. Very informative we shall tell you about that some other time.

Momma do I have something on my nose?

Finally Dr. Flanary came back and gave us the good news that the fecel came back clean and that he probably just ate something outside that didn't agree with him. She gave him some medicine and told Doggy Nanny to feed him some I/D for for a day or two until his tummy is better.

Here we are celebrating the good news with our Doggy Nanny!

As we headed up to the front desk to check out we saw this cute boy. We didn't get to ask his dad what breed of dog he was but looks like a Huskette (Husky/Basset Hound) which is a pretty cool combo.

Just waiting on my chart to come up so we can pay.

------------------
This morning Doggy Nanny called and said that he hasn't thrown up and his stool is back to firm. We are happy about that.

We know all your prayers, vibes, and POTP (power of the paw) helped him so much! Thank you!

Paducah's Cutest Pet Contest Part 3 of 3

Momma has always wanted to get our picture taken in a photo booth. Sadly the only photo booths she has ever seen were in the mall where puppies aren't allowed.

Well on Saturday that all changed as the doggies were allowed in the mall so momma took advantage of this and we got our picture taken in the photo booth.

We were a little short so grandma had to get in with us and hold us up. We had to look at the circle camera and say "CHEESE"!

How was that momma?

Since grandma doesn't have three arms Uncle Puppy couldn't be in our photo but we didn't leave him out. Awww He is sitting so pretty!

There it is...Lets see how we look.

They even had a special pet frame....How cool! I think we look spiffy!

Well that is the last post in our Adventure to the KY Oaks Mall. Hope you enjoyed it!

Paducah's Cutest Pet Contest Part 2 of 3

Alright here is part 2 of 3 of the Paducah's Cutest Pet Contest.

Lane (Former foster dog) did great on stage. For his talent portion he brushed his teeth. Now that is a fabulous talent! The croweds went wild!

Even after he left the stage he kept brushing. I bet he will have the cleanest teeth in all of Kentucky!

Next it was our turn on the stage.

I did my twirls and my dress looked absolutely fabulous!

Bobo's turn...He looks like a pro!

The lady in the black and white shirt took face shots of every pooch.

Here Uncle Puppy is asking why he has to walk across the scary stage.

Once he got going....He enjoyed it.

This lovely girl looks just like the one Bobo had his eye on at the Halloween Party last October. We didn't get a chance to talk to her owner but it looks an awful lot like her.

Bobo couldn't keep his eyes off of her. I loved her dress the pink bodice looks great against her furs! The zebra skirt makes quite the fashion statement.

Nice choice...A very summery dress.

This little Chihuahua's name was Cheech. He has lovely colored fur and the green camo collar is a great compliment to his fur.

When this duo stepped on stage the crowed when wild again. The Dalmation was in a Tux and the little girl was in a pretty dress. They won 2nd prize.

A daring move to go with a TuTu and matching bow but the outfit worked great for this little poodle. Momma said that I can have puffy bracelets like hers...when my fur grows out again.

This little Yorkie won 1st prize for Cutest Pet. She is 5 weeks old. I agree that such a young pup should not be out in public nor away from its mom and siblings but come on she is pretty cute!

We also got to see a rare breed of dog. This is only the second one we have ever seen. Its a full blooded Chinese Crested dog.

He did twirls too!

This little Chihuahua is named Peanut and belongs to Lauren Adams she is a news reporter for our local news channel. Lauren and Peanut have appeared together on the Local 6 Christmas greetings that run in December. So she is a tv star just like her mommy!

A little Shih Tzu girl. She won for best personality.

All that competition makes a boy thirsty.

We even shared our water dish with Uncle Puppy's new furiend. We are sad to say we forgot this lil boys name. He did recieve and Honorable mention in the contest.

None of us (me, Bobo, Uncle Puppy, or Lane) won any prizes but we had a ton of fun! Thats what matters!

After we got to the car Uncle Puppy fell asleep and didn't move the entire ride home.

Momma surprised me with a new tiger toy. She said that I am still a winner for doing my twirls on stage and being a good doggie the entire time!

After a quick chew and squeek I was out like a light. We will have to play tomorrow Mr. Tigerman.

Now we have one more post about our fun adventure to the mall so tune in tomorrow to hear all about it.
