Unfun Friday

Well we were back at the vet again today. All we had to do was get Uncle Puppy's stitches removed from his neuter and get our nails done.

As always...We all have to get weighed.

Mollie is 11.3 pounds.

Bobo is 17.1 pounds.

Uncle Puppy is 15.1 pounds...When the picture was snapped he was trying to get away from the scary scale.

Uncle Puppy sniffing...

...more sniffing.

Then we noticed a poster....Its furry suspicious. It says to "pamper" your pet by bathing them. No bath qualifies as pampering...I think the vet is trying to make momma wash us more...which is weird.

Uncle Puppy started to get board....
Come on Bobo I will take you for a walkie!

Once momma objected to that he started jumping up and down like a kangaroo and barking at the top of his lungs.

OH MY! You can't take this boy anywhere...

Finally he settled down.

Hey they said my name!

Uncle Puppy was first up on the table to get his stitches out. When they pulled them out he tinkled...and the vet tech Kelly dubbed him The Tinklier. She was the one who checked him in when he got his neuter and he tinkled then too thus the name.

Bobo was next and he had to have his nails clipped, ears cleaned and his bottom squeezed. Look at the fear in his eyes!

Uncle Puppy is calm as a cucumber cause he was done but I was scared silly cause I was next.

OH why does momma have to take pictures and remind the vet tech that I have dew claws?

For being so cute we got treats!

Alright we are all done and have paid....LETS GO!

Momma told us on the way home that unless someone gets hurt or is sick we don't have to go back to the vets office for 2 months. Thats when I will have to get my yearly shots....but I think I can get out if I try real hard.

Mollie Jo & Bobo

  2. We too are frequent fliers at the vet's office. Can't remember a month in the last two years that we managed not to go there for some reason (there have been 4 of us seen there, if you count old Duncan who was with us until last May). Thankfully mom does the nail-trimming and but-squeezing herself (eeeeeew!), or we'd be there every week I think!

  3. Wow what a trip - a lot of stuff going on! We think that you are right about Uncle Puppy's resembelence to a kangaroo during that visit -we can totally see it in that picture (it is cute too). And wow Mollie Jo, you are such a tiny girl - we thought that doggies were bigger than kitties, but you are smaller than both Lola and Barney! We think that is actually kinda cool - it is nice to know that there are doggies who are small and won't scare us out there (and that is a good snuggle size too!)

  14. I'm with Tank - go eat a few sandwiches! Even TaiChi was 17 lbs until she got sickie. Frankly, we are very happy to not have to go to the V-E-T very often. Mom used to have to go like every week with TaiChi and Bufus, but Abby and I are trying really hard (paws crossed) to stay healthy so Mom doesn't have to keep going back! Glad you all survived unscathed!

  17. Hi everybuddy,

A trip to the vet is never fun for me either but my goofy little brother loves attention so much he likes going there! Glad to hear you don't have to go back anytime soon.

  18. Yep...just MORE proof that the V.E.T. can't be trusted. They are encouraging more baths??? (shiver) Oh, and at first, I thoughts Mollie Jo weighed 113 pounds! BOL!

  19. Mitch loves to grab my leash and lead me! Mom doesn't like it because he trots along too fast and I have to run to keep up! Senior girlies don't run!
Maybe you could steal calendar pages so your mom forgets the yearly vet stuff?

    Love ya lots
