It was a chilly day back in January 2013 when we went to work with momma. Nothing out of the ordinary....except we didn't recieve breakfast before leaving home. But we were sure momma had something in the diaper bag for us. So we put our things in lucky cubby #13.
And got tucked into our suite at the clinic. Buttercup was just hanging out with us in her bag! What does our kennel card say Bobo?
Dentals and Bump-ectomy's?!?!? What the heck?!!?!? We is patients today?!?!?!
Yep we had been tricked! And it wasn't even Howl-o-Ween! I refused to participate any further in this...Whats that over there?
Oh Poodle Doodles! Thats a needle and blood catchers!
It was time for our annual bloodwork too. Oh that momma. She's a sneaky one!
After they stole all the bloods out of us they returned us to our suite and we felt groggy! I think that vet tech, Miss Liz, slipped us something funny!
Hello, Buttercup here! Mollie and Bobo went sleepy night night so I will take over this post from here. While my poodle friends were being put under anesthesia...I checked out the dental pack.
Mollie's toofers before.
Bobo's toofers before.
Cleaning in process!
After their dentals Bobo had a fatty lump removed from his chest and Mollie had three sebaceous cysts removed from her back and leg.
Post dental Mollie had a wet head and sleepy eyes.
Bobo tried to sit up but was slowly going down....down...down.
Dr. Rushing said they looked good after surgery, prescribed some pain meds and gave mollie her very own cone of shame!
As we left the clinic that night it was snowing! We didn't get much but it was pretty!!!
When we got home I noticed that the cone of shame was so plain.
So Debbie II and I looked through the scrapbooking tote and found these super cute stickers and decided to make it a fashion cone!
TaDa!
Im sure every pup will want one!
Recovery went well for the poodles. Both Mollie and Bobo chewed some of their stitches out (Mollie didn't like wearing her cone much) but Dr. Rushing said it was healed up already so no worry.
Wags and Licks,
Mollie Jo, Bobo and Buttercup :)
We're glad to hear from you all. Sorry that your momma tricked you during that visit to the vets, but it was all for your own good.
