Thinking Thursday

With the warmer temps and the inability to use all of our air conditionier units at the same time (it pops a switch) we have moved the sewing machine, embroidery machine, and all the accessories in the living room. So now while momma and grandma are doing their crafts me and Bobo can sleep in our comfy crates. I think this is a grand idea!!!

Meanwhile.....

Uncle Puppy thinks its time to play!

He also thinks its time to play bitey butt!

I think I will sit on the porch with Doggy Nanny.

After 8 minutes outside me and Uncle Puppy think its time to go inside and get a cool drink of water!!!

Now momma got a pretty cool new toy. Its called Rascal and he is a scooter. She got it from a furiend so that when we go to big flea markets and such her leg will not hurt and she can keep going.


Rascal has a nice cushion seat and a bag to put treats in.

Bobo thinks this could be pretty fun just to have at home!

We let Doggy Nanny and Uncle Puppy go for a spin. I think they like it too!

Just scooting around the yard....Uncle Puppy likes to follow it.

After we left Doggy Nanny and Uncle Puppy's house we went for a quick ride down our street. Bobo got to ride on the scooter with grandma while I got to ride in the a/c cooled car with momma. Hmm...I think I got the better end of that deal.

To make the key prettier momma found a Lupine key holder and a cute charm to put on it. Now it looks spiffy!


We think efurryone should stay inside and read the blogs until this heat is out of here! Whos with us?

Wordless Wednesday

It's HOT HOT HOT!

This afternoon we were just reading the blogs and such when our Weather Bug turned RED HOT! We pulled it up and look at this....

Thats right we hit 100 degrees outside with a heat index of 108. It is 2:45 as we paw this post and today we have only been outside 2 times today. And they were run out...Go pee pee...run back inside trips!

Telling Tuesday

Pupdate! Over the weekend a great family applied to adopt our Miss Lolly Pop. They are co-workers of grandma's and furry nice people. Yesterday afternoon momma gave them a follow up call and they said that she is adjusting well and they just love her! They had been pupsitting their grandmothers chihuahua, Daisy, and even have decided to keep Daisy a little longer as they are just having the best time together!

We sure do miss her but know that she has a great home and wish Jason, Brittany, Lolly Pop and cousin Daisy all the best!

We have one funny photo from her stay here we wanted to share. When momma would be in the sewing room she would let Lolly Pop play and sleep in this drawer. Isn't that too cute?

In Uncle Puppy news, there are no more sights like this. Thank Dog!!!

When he came up last night to porch sit I was checking his toofers and noticed that he had lost a few more!

Here is an inside look at his mouth. Our little Uncle is growing up!

In Bobo news....We put out a big quilt for Uncle Puppy every week so that he has a cool place to nap. Well looks like Bobo is enjoying the quilt too. It is in the direct path of the A/C window units so that corner gets lotsa cool air.

In Me news...Well I am enjoying my sock monkey bed and thats about it. With this heat a girl can't do much! The news person said that today and tomorrow we are going to be in a Heat Warning with temps at 105 and "feels like" temps at 115. Thats no good!

Sock Monkey Bed!!!!!

So last Friday evening we were just out in the yard getting really hot....when momma came out with her purse on her arm and the keys in her hand.

When she saw Mollie she stopped and laughed at her funny froggie doggie legs....but then told us "they have it they have it!!!"


So we piled in the car and headed off to an unknown destination.
Where are we going momma?

Then we approached the BIG bridge....

...and entered IL....What on earth could she have planned?

Our final destination was the Walgreens in Metropolis, IL. We asked her why we had to cross state lines to come to Walgreens in IL...We have 3 only 15 miles from our house. She replied to us "they have it they have it!"

Due to laws we are unable to go into the store but we sent Lilac in to take pictures and grandma stayed in the car with us. OH MY DOG!!! Its a Sock Monkey Bed!!!!

So momma grabbed it from the pile and had Lilac pose for a picture. It was 1 of 3 left in the store.

Once momma got back to the car and showed us the bed she told us that she called every Walgreens in a 40 mile radius and this was the only one that had any Sock Monkey beds left in stock. She knew how much I wanted one just like all my furiends! She also found this lonely purple Loofa stuffie and bought it for me too.

Yum...Num...Num....I have the best mommy in the world!!!

Once we got home we had to show Doggy Nanny my new bed and take some pictures!

Since I have 2 dog bed in the car, one on grandma's bed, and my crates in the living room....I think this bed will be my sewing room bed!

It's August!

First we would like to say Happy August! Can't believe its the 8th month of 2010 already. We sure can not.


Once momma saw that Petco had released the new charms in the grooming salon, she couldn't stand it so....Off we go!!!

Once we entered IL we saw a lot of other drivers going fast....

...Then we saw alot of policemen on the side of the road writing citations

Are we there yet?

Finally we hit the Carbondale, IL city limits and to the right the Petco! Gotta check the pee-mail before heading inside.

What is this....Woofstock? August 21st? Flowers?

Once we got inside Petco had a table set up with info on Woofstock 2010.

Look at all the fun they will be having! I bet Uncle Puppy would look furry nice in tye dye furs! BOL The nice Petco lady told that Red Ruff will be making an appearance and taking pictures. Can you believe it?

After getting all the info we headed to the grooming salon and met this furry cute Cocker Spaniel.

Here they are the newest charms from Petco. Aren't they the cutest ever?

Then we stopped by the rawhide bar....

...got some goodies and headed to the check out line.

Once we got to the car I noticed momma had purchased something else....what could it be?

Its a new zipper harness with a pink fuzzy lining. It will be great once winter arrives. Plus momma found a cute little pink cow bell collar charm to match. It has a cat on the package but I think that was a mistake it is clearly doggie collar charm.

After Petco we had momma run in Jo-Ann Fabrics to see if they had any tye dye material so we can have home made collars, leashes, and bandanas for Woofstock!

Did they have any?

OH BOY! Pink for me and blue for the boys! We will be the grooviest pups at Woofstock 2010!!!

Whew what a day! We are super tired.

We have some other BIG news that we will share with you tomorrow! It has to do with sleeping and zoo animals....We will leave it at that.
