Mr. & Miss Puppy Paws Dog Show

To benefit Relay for Life a group called Calli Cares hosted a grrreat event called the Mr. & Miss Puppy Paws Dog Show.

We loaded up the trunk with all of the necessities.

We loaded up the car with all of us.

Then hit the road. One nap later we were in Marion, KY.

We had to hand in our entry forms to complete the registration process.

Here are the raffle items. Sadly we didn't win.

We were one of the first to arrive. So we got to check out the competition.

Here is a shot of our stacked clothing boxes. We had each outfit, leash, collar, tag and bow set separated by category.

Then in this bag we had a special secret weapon to ensure a win!

Then we pulled out the big finally for Most talented pup. I had a custom Tutu made by Lori of Lori's Tutu's and Designs!

Bobo entered the Mr. Puppy Paws and Prettiest Eyes category.

The other pups that attended included:

A precious puggum

A fashionable Chihuahua

Her equally fashionable sisfur Chihuahua.

A Mighty Min Pin (he was part of the judging team).

A talkative Chow-Chow

The Clowning Chihuahua

A Chilly Chihuahua

A rescued St. Bernard Puppy

A Funny Husky

But she was VERY well trained.

We were chasing our tails as they called up each category for crowning.

Bobo won 1st place for pretties eyes and 1st runner up for Mr. Puppy Paws!

I won 1st place for Most talented, 1st place for Best Dressed, and 2nd runner up for Miss Puppy Paws!

After the show we all piled back in the carseat and were out in 87 seconds flat!

We thank the Cali Cares team for hosting this pawtastic event!

We are putting the trophies and ribbons we won on our crate so we can see them effuryday!

Pee Ess: We are sad to report that Richie has gone to the Rainbow Bridge. We are sad to loose a furend. We have only known Richie for a short time but know he is now free at the Rainbow Bridge and with is sisfur Molly. Bye Richie!

Pee Pee Ess: We are also crossing our paws for our tiny furend Twinkie. She has had some sickies. So please cross your paws and put her on your puppy prayer list that all is ok!

Preparing for the BIG Dog Show

This morning we are getting ready for the BIG Dog Show in Marion, KY.

When getting shaved I discovered I still have my beauty mark.

Man was I furry!

Then was bath time...
...That led to Drying time!

I am so excited I couldn't even sit still for a picture!

Thursday's Trip!

We started out our day by visiting Joey and his family. We had to take them the final paperwork for his adoption. Look at this handsome boy!

He was so happy to see us and was jumping up and licking momma.

They say he is doing great. Here is a pic with his new fur-brother Corky.

Since we were so close to Union City, TN we stopped by Petsense.

YUM!

We got some new tag silencers and I got some hairbows for this weekends competition!

Then we stopped by Dogtor Flanary's to pick up Betty.

I hope they don't make a mistake and give us a shot!!!!!!

Betty is doing good post spay/microchip/dental. Thanks Dogtor Flanary for taking good care of her!

Pee Ess: We are getting groomed today by momma. Charlie is being groomed by a professional...cause well he needs professional help. BOL Plus this groomer has worked with alot of rescue dogs and can handle the crazy pups. Grooming pics will be posted in the morning and Sunday we will give you the rundown of the Mr. & Miss Puppy Paws Dog Show!

Wordy Wordy Wednesday!

Wow....We haven't posted in nearly a week. Unbelievable! We have been so busy getting ready for the upcoming events, working with Miss Betty's Socalization, and Springy Cleaning we just haven't had time to take pictures or blog. We told momma that this must stop and we must pupdate you on the ongoings here in Ken-Tuck-EE

Yesterday we headed out to Paducah to get a some *special things*.

First stop was Hobby Lobby to pick up a tri-fold board for our Mollie's Foundation Booth at the upcoming "Rockin' Rescue" event. I wanted pink but somebody done tore it all up on the inside. So we went with purple.

Can we stop for some lunch after this momma?

No lunch break for us as Momma got a phone call that we need to meet someone at Noble Park in Paducah. Hmmm....It's Charlie! He has come back from his foster moms cause we have 4 big weekends coming up and we are taking them (Charles and Betty) with us so they can get adopted. We sure missed this silly lil boy!

He napped all the way home.

Because we are going to be going to so many events we will have to have proper shading. Betty and Charles are testing it out. They give it 4 paws approval!

We also got some doggie diapers from our furends Fiona, Abby and their mom Liz. We thank them so much for sharing these with us and our foster pups. Although I am not sure why I had to model....I am potty trained (most of the time anyway). Notice my Poodle Eye ROLL!

This morning we had to take Betty in for her spay surgery. She is also getting her microchip and dental. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers today!

Everyone loved my Easter dress and guess what this time no butt squeeze, shots, or nail trim for me! YIPEE!!!!!!

Pee Ess: Guess what, my match maker brother Bobo, has set me up with a cute lil Yorkie boy named Bob. I think he has a crush on me too! OOOOOH....I think I am blushing!!!!
