Scenery Sunday

This is the view from our front porch. We love porch sitting and watching for deer, squirrels, and other wild animals in the field across the street.

Unfortunately now that the leaves have fallen the broken branches are now more visible. So many trees in our area look like this now due to an ice storm back in January 2009.

This is the view from our back porch. From our back yard we can run through the "lane" right into the Doggy Nanny's front yard. Thats Doggy Nanny's house there in the back ground. Thats our favorite part of the yard. Lots of good smells in the lane.

  1. It's shocking to see the trees again. The damage was so well hidden during the summer, but now it's back full force, isn't it? You have a lovely view!

  2. You two have lots of space to run and play. I think I'd like to live in the country. Mom would too!

  7. We much prefer to have our trees with leaves too, but it is THAT time of the year. We didn't realize the Doggy Nanny was that close to you - how nice is that!!!

  8. What terrific photos of your yard. Trees sure look different without leaves...especially when they've suffered damage!
