The Mystery Reaveled

Introducing our newest foster dog...

Maggie Mae
She is a Cocker Spaniel (possible mix). The rescue that momma works with pulled a pure bred momma cocker from their shelter. Once they got her to the rescue they found out she was hiding a surprise. 6 lil babies! Now that they are 6 weeks they needed some foster families to help them get social and learn the ropes of being proper doggie citizens. Momma said she was supposed to arrive Saturday...But the rescue that had her was taking a unexpected trip this way and brought her early. Actually our Doggy Nanny will be fostering her as she LOVES Cockers (she has had 4 in the past). We will keep her at our house when the Doggy Nanny goes to work...Sorta reverse Doggy Day Care...BOL

When momma found out that she was coming today she called the vet to see if they could get her in for her first shot...and the nice people at Flanary Vet Clinic said yes!

In the waiting room.

Getting weighed...She is 4.0 pounds.

She even got a toy.

Then she brought her home. She has already left some peemial.

Then Momma let us out to meet her. I went first.

Then Bobo...He is a bit scared of her...BOL
After a good run in the yard momma took her into the Doggy Nanny's house to put her in her pen so that she could rest and eat.

The Doggy Nanny just loves her...She has been playing with her and taking real good care of her. She reports that she already knows how to howl and loves her toys.

Tomorrow she will be coming at 7 am for day care. We will take good care of her and momma will take lots more pictures.

Wags and Licks,
Mollie Jo & Bobo

  20. OMD, she is just adorable. And so tiny. How wonderful that your family is going to help her learn and grow. Her story sounds a lot like the Holly we posted about today. Her mom came to rescue pregnant with 11 pups!!!
