STL Expo Speakers & Talent Show Pt. 4/6

At the STL Pet Expo they had a full day of speakers with topics ranging from adoption to dog fashion. We saw as many as we could. We started with the Prop B discussion. You can tell Bobo was most interested...BOL...he was watching the dogs in the Potty area play.

We also saw the clicker training demo. Very interesting how its done!

There was also a bully breed demo. This little brindle boy's name was Teddy Bear. He was quite the model citizen.

We hope that some people see bully breeds in a new light now.

We also got to hear Randy Grim of Stray Dog rescue speak about rescue, dogs, and life as a dog rescuer. He is a great person who rescues all the strays he can from the streets of St. Louis. He is quite comical and has some totally funny stories.

While he was speaking he read an excerpt from his book Don't Dump the Dog. It made me and momma giggle. After he was done speaking we went to his booth and purchased the book along with one he wrote called Miracle Dog. Once we finish reading them both we will do a book review.

He even signed the books we purchased. How cool is that?!?! He wrote in one "Katie & your little pumpkin poodle, Enjoy the book & thanks for all you do." Isn't that pawsome he gave me a nickname Little Pumpkin Poodle! Thanks Randy for all the work you do and signing our book! This is the car he was sitting in to sign books. I wish my poodle mobile looked this pawsome!

At 4pm they began the talent competition. We can't believe only three dogs signed up.

First was a chocolate doberman who did high 5!

Next was a Shepard Mix that could speak!

Then there was me...I twirled, sat and did high 5!

I won 1st prize! That makes me a 5 week trick champion!!!!! We did give a big round of paw to the other talented dogs, they did a good job!

OOOOH That bone was totally nommy. I nibbled on it the rest of the afternoon.

Tomorrow we will share with you the totally grrrreat costume competition. You will not want to miss it there were some fantastic one-of-a-kind costumes!

Wags and Licks,
Mollie Jo & Bobo

P.S. Hey, know where I can get a Mango sized stroller? My boo boo leg is keeping me from going walkies, but a stroller, now that would do it.
