Saturday at the Kennels

Hillary wanted the afternoon off so she could go to a furiends wedding so she asked if momma could fill in fur her.  Momma said she would Love to!

And do you notice something missing from this front room kennel?  Yep me!  Thats right as soon as Hillary called I had a good long talk with momma and told her I wanna stay home with Grandma.  Finally she agreed!  Thank dog!!!!

Now since I was home napping I will let her take it from here.

Thank you Mollie

I do love working the kennels and meeting all the new dogs.

This time I had the pleasure of working with...
...Duke, Bank and Tricity.  I loved meeting a pit bull!

Harry the talkative Pointer.

Eshawn and Rosie

Sweetpea the IG Mix

Baxter the Doxie and Jenna the yorkie/chinese crested mix.  She was so cute!  Her back was completely fur-less!!!!

Dixie the sweet poodle girl with pink nails.

Winston the yapper

A repeat visitor Tanner.

The oh so cute Dallas.

Miss Sweetie.

And the best dog of all Spunky Monkey Man!

He dances and prances his feet!

And he even gave me a tongue shot!  Have I mentioned how much I love this boy?!?!?

And I also found a new furiend.  Willimina is a Spynx Cat and oh was she soft.  She had peach fuzz hair and personality!  She hugged on me and rubbed on me and begged me to hold her, so I did.  I have never been a fan of cats due to allergies but this one was worth the itchy hands and sneezing fit I had after I left.  LOL

This kitty had no name on her card but I liked her markings.

Not pictured I also had labs-a-plenty (Jack, Dixie, Ally, and a male black lab), an American Bulldog ( Orson the scared one), a Pit Mix puppy (Rosie), and a Dachshund (Sampson).

After I did all my kennel work I went back and got Spunky out of his cage and took him into the back.  I wanted to give him some extra attention.  I did get clearance from Dr. Flanary to do this.

So I held him, rocked him, and rubbed his tiny head.  I think he enjoyed the attention! I know I enjoyed getting to spend some quality time with him.

Now to go wake up Mollie from her nap!

  2. What's the deal with poor little Spunky? Is anyone coming to pick up that poor baby? If not, I think you should take him home Katie because you are so good at fostering and finding them furever homes.

  3. Looks like it was a fun day. Spunky is lucky to have you around to spoil him. I agree with the Slimmers, when is poor Spunky going to go home?
