Momma is Certified!

Last night momma took us to Doggy Nanny's House while she went "out". Well she came home smelling like pit bull and had some STRANGE ideas!
------------
We shall let her take over from here
-----------
Last night I went to my local Red Cross where they were holding a Pet First Aid Class. In the past they have been "canceled due to lack of interest" but one person (who happens to work at Mollie's Favorite place the Paducah Bank) organized some people from a local Facebook page who would attend and at last nights class 10 people attended with many more wanting a Saturday class.

Amy, with the Graves County Animal Shelter, was our instructor and she brought her foster dog Pebbles. Pebbles was the door greeter and instruction dog. When not being used in an exercise she would go from table to table getting pets. She loved sitting with me and even gave me pibble sugars on my toes (yes I was wearing flip flops in 29 degree weather).

They even had demo dogs to practice our new techniques on.

After viewing the video and doing the discussions we got to practice the CPR and muzzling techniques on the Red Cross stuffies. Since they ran out of doggies the instructor said I could pretend its a Chihuahua. Each person who attended recieved a book with dvd and a little certificate.

Pebbles hadn't eaten dinner and kept staring at the door hoping her momma would take her home and feed her her kibbles! Poor Pebbles!

Thanks! I shall return the post to Mollie JO
--------------
Now momma wants to "practice" the techniques on us.....umm....I don't think so!

And in other news momma did it again. We has a new foster Brother. We will give ya'll the low down on him tomorrow.

  6. Wow that is very interesting. They did a CPR demo at the NIPRA Pug event, but it was so crowded we couldn't hear. What a great thing to learn. Perhaps we will leave mom a note on that.
Pibble sugars are awesome. Poor Pebbles, hope she got a big treat for being a good pup.

  12. Well, now I know who to call if I need emergency care. That is an excellent idea to know the first aids.
