4th of July Weekend

Wow what a fun 4th of July weekend!
narrated by: Mollie Jo & Bobo

Come on momma lets go before all the burgers are gone.

We were the "Grill Masters"!

We waited till everyone was seated to begin eating. Our momma taught us manners.
We had to wait for a long time........

Then we ate burgers, potato salad, beans, and deviled eggs.

Oh the food was soooooooo good!

We would like to introduce some one who will, from time to time, appear in our blog.

This is Smoky, a Main Coon cat. He showed up at my grandmothers house a few months ago and they have decided to keep him. He is a scardy cat but he is kinda cute....for a cat anyway.

Don't I look pretty sitting on my stool?

I am getting a bit sleepy......

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

After a nap we went home ate some more good 4th of July food and took yet another nap.
---------------------------
On Monday we went to a place called Murry KY.

We decided to check out the train deck at the community play house theater. So many smells.

We decided to sit here on the bench and wait for the train....Do you see it comming yet?

All Aboard!

Checking out the other end of the train.

This end has a nice view.

-------------------------------
Then we went across the street to the park.

Wheee! I like the slide.

Do you think I can go back up the slide?

Here I go....I almost made it!

I made out of the tunnel alive.

Oh wait was that a squirrel?

Then we went to the swing set and let momma push us...we got to feel the wind in our hair...

I really like to swing...Momma even brought us a blanket to sit on.

Then we went down town and had to go shopping in some scrapbooking stores (we had to do something momma likes too) and we saw this giant piggy bank and wanted to take out picture with it. It was called "Tammy Swinette". She was wearing a purple dress, a hat, and earrings.

Next we went to the next town over called Hazel KY to some antique shops and this one had a soda fountian. See we ride in style at antique shops.
------------------------------------
Momma then decided to go across the boarder into TN. We shopped some more at a few anitque shops and dropped by Petsmart to stock up on Greenies and Denta Sticks. We even convinced mom to get a few bags of snausages.

At the cash register the cashier gave us each a milk bone. With bone in mouth we were ready to hit the road for the long ride home.
----------------------------------

We slept the entire way home. Once we got home we ate dinner and headed to our crates for another nap...Shopping is hard on a little puppy!

  1. Wow what an adventure. Did you eat deviled eggs?? I got some one time and the result wasn't pretty so no more of those for me. That Smokey cat is pretty cute, I mean for a cat. I am glad you had fun, now get some rest.

  11. Such a funfilled and busy day you had. You both looked great in your patriotic outfits. And Smoky seems like a nice kitty even if a bit shy. You sure know how to travel well with your cute buggies. Thanks for sharing your shopping excursion. Be careful on those slides, you don't want to get any paw burns:)
